Stylup Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Stylup! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform and services, including the generation of images, videos, and other AI-based outputs (“Services”). By using Stylup, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Scope and Eligibility
Stylup is available globally. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Stylup, and users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
To access core features, you must create an account with accurate, up-to-date information. Only one account is allowed per user.
2. Acceptable Use of the Services
You may not use Stylup to:
- Violate laws or infringe on rights (e.g., copyright, trademarks).
- Upload unlawful, harmful, explicit, or misleading content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or exploit our systems.
- Resell or commercially redistribute the service without permission.
- Generate content that promotes hate, violence, or false claims.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
3. User-Generated Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the content you upload and the outputs you generate.
Stylup does not claim ownership but retains the right to process, store, and display your content solely for delivering and improving the service.
During the freemium period, you agree that Stylup may use your generated content (images and videos) for marketing and promotional purposes. Please avoid uploading unreleased or confidential material.
You are responsible for ensuring your content doesn’t violate any third-party rights.
4. Payment, Subscription & Refunds
Stylup uses Stripe as our secure payment provider. By using any paid services, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Subscription Plans & Billing
Subscriptions (monthly or annual) automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled in advance. You can cancel your subscription anytime via your account dashboard. Cancellation will prevent future renewals but does not automatically issue a refund for the current billing period.
Refund Policy
Annual Plans: If you cancel your annual plan within the first 14 days, you are eligible for a partial refund, calculated based on the time or credits used. For example, if you’ve used 20% of your included credits, we will deduct 20% of the annual fee and refund the remaining balance. Once 14 days have passed, the plan becomes non-refundable.
Monthly Plans & Token Packs: All monthly subscriptions and one-time credit/token purchases are non-refundable once payment is processed. These are considered short-term commitments and remain active until the end of the billing period.
Free Trials (if applicable)
If a free trial is offered, you will be notified of its duration and any auto-conversion to paid plans. You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
Charge Disputes
If you believe you’ve been charged in error, please contact our support team before initiating a dispute. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.
5. Content Storage & Retention
- Images: Stored for up to 1 year
- Videos: Stored for up to 30 days You are responsible for downloading and backing up any content you wish to keep before the retention period ends. Deleted content is permanently removed.
6. Third-Party Services & Integrations
Stylup integrates with:
- Stripe (payments)
- Google Analytics (usage analytics)
- Google Sign-In (authentication)
All use of these services is governed by their own privacy and legal policies.
7. Service Performance & Updates
We strive for uptime and reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Stylup may evolve over time — features can be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice.
8. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time.
Stylup may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security/legal risks.
We will retain your content for a short grace period after deletion; thereafter, it will be permanently deleted.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Stylup is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We make no guarantees that outputs will meet your needs, be legally compliant, or be completely error-free.
Use of generated content is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
Stylup’s total liability to you is limited to:
- The total fees you paid us in the last 12 months, or
- USD $100 — whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Stylup against claims resulting from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
Any disputes shall be settled in Sri Lankan courts, unless otherwise mandated by your local consumer protection laws.
13. Miscellaneous
- These Terms form the full agreement between you and Stylup.
- If any clause is deemed unenforceable, it shall not affect the rest.
- You may not transfer your account or rights without our consent.
